ONCE UPON A TIM...
Self-taught out of a passion for creating, Tim embarked upon learning his craft in 2018 after trying his hand at putting together a number of woodwork projects for his own home in west Norfolk. Creating each piece of furniture by hand to fit all the little nooks and crannies of his new home, Tim found that quality, custom-fitted pieces offering innovative storage and utility solutions that looked every bit as beautiful as they functioned should be something to share, and so with a little more learning, some experimentation and a whirlwind kinda love for carpentry and cabinetry, Tedwoods was born.
Since then, Tedwoods has evolved to specialise in a variety of fitted furniture, from bespoke wardrobes, alcove cabinets and mud-rooms, to media units, kitchens and even his and hers closets. Working from his workshop on the family farm in the Norfolk countryside with his two labradors, Tim takes great pride in crafting each and every project from start to finish himself - from measuring up and building the design, to sourcing, cutting and joining materials all the way through to spray finishing, installation and those all-important final touches.

I founded Tedwoods Fitted Furniture in 2018 from a love for being creative, hands on and luxury furniture/interiors. I mainly design and manage the team now, but am still very hands on in the workshop and with installations. I love seeing a project come together when installed!
Outside of work I spend most of my time with my partner Jess and our 2 dogs going on walks and holidays.

I’ve been with Tedwoods since Tim founded the company, so I’ve had the pleasure of seeing the business grow from the very beginning. I am the first point of contact for our customers and support Tim with the day-to-day running of the business to help keep everything moving smoothly.
Outside of work, I have a very busy family life with my three girls, who keep me on my toes! When I get the chance, I always look forward to a nice break away and some time to recharge.
Lead Cabinet Maker
TOM
Tom started with us in August 2022 on a general furniture making apprenticeship and his stayed on with us since to become the lead cabinet maker in the workshop.
Outside of work he enjoys going to the gym and spending time with friends and family.
Furniture Making Apprentice
LOUIE
Louie started with us in August 2025 after doing a year at City College Norwich. He is currently doing a general furniture maker apprenticeship course with us through WEB’s training.
Outside of work he enjoys skateboarding with friends and gaming.
